Malkia Strikers have today officially named the 12-member team that has made the cut to represent Kenya at the Tokyo Olympics Games. The head coach Mr. Paul Bitok made the announcement this afternoon at the Kasarani Indoor Gymnasium.

The team has been in camp since 22/3/21. The journey has been long, tough and full of challenges.The players and technical team have worked extremely hard. Under this harsh conditions of covid 19 protocols.

The players and coaches have given their best during their regular training for Olympics. Given that Olympics is the highest sporting activity in any players profile.

Head Coach Paul Bitok stated that their selection  was  purely based on merit through hard work and fairness and he is optimistic  of good performance in the   Olympics.

“I am proud of the large line-up that we previously had, 20 players now we have finished with 12 players.Our performance this time in Tokyo will be something to be proud of.
The team will be leaving for pre-camp training in Kurume city on 6/7/21.
