On 5th December 2021, The Kenya Sports Shooting Federation held a KSSF Open day Jamhuri Shoot by Ammodump Club at Kwenia Range in Magadi, 100km from Nairobi. The function saw 79 Competitors from all over Kenya; Six affiliated clubs with the federation, the Kenya Defense Forces Shooting Club, National Police Services Shooting Club, Kenya Regiment Rifle Club, Mt Kenya Sports Shooting Club and Women Sports Shooting Club. Competitors from International Police Organization (IPO) International Police Association (IPA) Bamburi Rifle Club coast weren’t in attendance as they prepare for their 50th Anniversary next week. Limuru Gun Club sent apologies for having an Open day event in Timau in the coming week.

“This is such an incredible experience, some of the biggest stars are here. There are young ones we have been watching and we want to sculpt them as we head to the 2026 Youth Olympics Games in Dakar. The results today prove this.” KSSF President Mr. Shoaib Vayani said.

Different categories included Shotgun, 9mm, Pistol, AK-47.
One of the youngsters of the day was Theo Ayub Mugo, Overall winner junior category, score-90. “I feel nice winning today and appreciated it, I want to join the army and be a general.” His father, Mr. Ayub went ahead to add, “He looks up to big Sports Names like Tiger Woods and if you observe you’ll see that their fathers were behind them, some exciting news to hear that he can possibly compete in the future Olympics and I would love him to represent the country and fellow Kenyans.”

After various Competitions the day ended with the following results:
