The National Olympic Committee Of Kenya is a non-profit organization which is a constituent of the Olympic Movement, affiliated to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA).
National Olympic Committee of Kenya was formed in 1955 and recognized by the IOC that same year. In 1956 Kenya made its debut at the Summer Olympics which were held in Melbourne, Australia.
The role of National Olympic Committee of Kenya is to facilitate the representation of Kenya at the Olympic Games by sending competitors and officials with the mission to develop promote and protect the fundamental principles and values of Olympism in accordance with the Olympic Charter.
Our services range from training of Coaches,athletes and sports administration, organization of events,Information provision and provision of clothing and equipment for all our stakeholders.
Most of our customers at NOC-K are majorly B2B where we specifically focus the provision of services and support to our affiliate member federations who in tern trickle it down to athletes. Most our federation are interested in the development of their sport and therefore they look to us to come up with and facilitate programs that will capacity build their stakeholders who will in return bring take the expertise into growing the sport or discipline.
On the other hand, we are also a B2C organization and on this part we provide welfare for athletes,market them and provide clothing as well as equipment during preparation for major sporting events like the African Games,Commonwealth Games and ultimately the Olympic Games.
